As school winds down and the weather heats up, Fellowship Baptist Church is adjusting its normal ministry schedule slightly for the months of May, June, and July. An overview of our summer ministries are listed below, and we encourage you to consult our Google calendar or connect with our social media accounts for specific information about services and events. We hope you’ll make plans to join us for Summer 2025 at Fellowship!
Sunday Mornings
We open our fellowship hall at 9:30am and provide coffee, juice, and pastries prior to the beginning of Sunday School classes/small groups at 10:00am. Worship begins at 11:00am, with young children invited to dismiss to Children’s Church roughly ten minutes into the service. We have three sermon series planned for this summer:
- The Game of Life (May 11 & 18)
- This is Living: a study through Philippians (May 25 – June 22)
- The Stand: a study through Daniel (June 29 – July 27)
Midweek Ministries
Adults will gather at 6:30pm on Wednesday nights for Rooted, a ten-week group study beginning May 14 and running through July 30. Our GlowKids ministry will also continue on Wednesdays at 6:30pm with members of The Inn Crowd student ministry volunteering to provide childcare during the adults’ study. Speaking of The Inn Crowd, they will be meeting at various off-campus locations on Tuesday evenings throughout the summer. There will be no Midweek Ministries the week of July 4th. Vacation Bible School is scheduled for Wednesday evenings in August.
Small Groups
The majority of our Sunday/Monday/Tuesday evening small groups will be winding down in May and taking a break over the summer. We will share details about our small groups as their “relaunch” dates approach in August/September.
Special Events and Services
- The Inn Crowd will travel to Fort Morgan for their summer retreat on June 18-21
- Join us for our annual VBS Kickoff Celebration at the Fayette Aquatic Center on Wednesday, July 23.
