Worship services resume May 31

Psalm 122:1, services resume May 31, 2020

Please join us at 11am on Sunday, May 31, as worship services resume at Fellowship Baptist Church. We will take steps before, during, and after services to provide a safe environment for our members and guests (see below). Video recordings of Bro. Chris Hunnicutt’s sermons will continue to be available online and on DVD for those who cannot attend in person.

Adults’ Bible Study, The Inn Crowd, and GlowKids are all tentatively slated to resume in their normal locations on June 3 at 6pm. We plan to resume other services and ministries in the coming weeks.

Bro. Chris Hunnicutt has composed a letter regarding our decision to resume physical meetings. The letter includes detailed information about how we plan to keep our sanctuary and other meeting spaces are as safe as possible. We encourage everyone to read his letter (available here) before attending services at Fellowship.

General Cleanliness and Conduct Guidelines for Resuming Church Services

  • Please stay home if you are showing any signs of sickness or are in a high health risk category.
  • We will have high traffic areas and surfaces rigorously cleaned before and after services.
  • Efforts will be made to offer “touchless” services.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available.
  • Enter and exit through designated doors as access to many parts of our church building will be restricted.
  • Use common sense and courtesy while practicing social distancing measures.
  • Wear a mask if you are comfortable doing so.
  • Parents should keep their children with them at all times. Children’s church and nursery services will not be offered at this time.
