Fellowship Baptist Church has called Bro. Robbie Bradford to serve as our new lead pastor. The pastor search committee’s nomination of Bradford was confirmed with a 96% affirmative vote of the membership following the worship service on Sunday, June 23.
“I am honored but also scared to death!” said Bradford. “Falla and I will definitely need our church family’s prayers as we step into this new role, but we are excited to see how God will use Fellowship for His glory in this community.”
Bradford will serve in a bi-vocational role as he continues to teach and coach at Lamar County High School. He and Falla will also continue to lead The Inn Crowd student ministry.
“It’s such a blessing,” said deacon and search committee chairman Jerry Robertson. “From the beginning of our pastor search, we prayed that the Good Lord would send us a team… a pastor and wife that would have a love for our church and a heart for the people in our community. And we have that with Bro. Robbie and Ms. Falla. We are excited to move forward!”
Robbie and Falla have two children, Kennedy (Univ. of Mobile) and Xander (Univ. of West Alabama), and one grandchild, Adalyn.
