Join us this Wednesday, September 3, at 6:30pm as we launch our full slate of Midweek Ministries at Fellowship Baptist Church. We offer groups for the whole family: adults, teens, and kids! On Wednesdays we Fellowship, and we pray you will too!

Adults’ Bible Study

In His letter to the church at Ephesus (Revelation 2:1-7), Jesus commends the church for the good they are doing while also calling them to repent for abandoning the love they had at first. Today, even as our church is experiencing new blessings and ministry opportunities, it is wise to pause and make sure everything we do flows completely from our love for Jesus Christ.

This Wednesday evening, our adults will begin a study entitled “Falling in Love with Jesus Again.” Through study, discussion, and prayer we will examine ourselves and our church to make sure that Jesus remains our first love, and if He’s not, repent and go back to the things we did at first to keep Him seated on the throne of our hearts.

Adults’ Bible Study meets in the fellowship hall. If you are a first time guest, simply enter through the middle set of church doors. Adults of all ages, including parents of children participating in our other ministries, are encouraged to take part!

The Inn Crowd

Why was Jesus accused of being a “Friend of Sinners?”  Because he spent time with the people the religious leaders rejected for not being “clean enough.” Jesus came to bring mercy right in the middle of our mess because none of us are clean enough! In our new series “Friend of Sinners,” we will discover a different kind of Jesus who changes how we see God, ourselves, and others. This Jesus changes everything! When we encounter him as a friend we don’t just see a God demanding perfection, we see a savior who never stops loving us.

Any and all students in grades 7-12 are invited to come be part of The Inn Crowd and meet the friend who changes everything! We will meet in the main church sanctuary until renovations to our student sanctuary are complete.

Radiate

Parents, we invite your children to join us this Wednesday as we launch Radiate, a new ministry specifically designed for upper elementary students. We will kick off this new ministry with a series entitled “Maturity.” 

Whether you are a kid or an adult,  you become a baby all over again when you make Jesus the leader of your life. Jesus makes us clean and new as he changes us from the inside out. But like babies, our clean heart must learn to grow and mature. Being a baby is okay if you actually are a baby, but kids and adults who choose to start following Jesus need to mature and grow! 

Grow up for God and be mature. Keep your hearts healthy by learning about Jesus. Live like Him everyday and own your spiritual growth as you turn your back on sin, whining, wrong-thinking, and selfish actions.

Radiate will meet downstairs beneath the fellowship hall in “The Radiator.” GlowKids, our ministry for preK through lower elementary children, will meet with Radiate for the beginning of the program and will then split off for their own special lesson and activities.
