Prayer is one of the many disciplines in the Christian walk. A discipline takes determination and practice. During the next 21 days, make the prayer discipline a priority.
Set a time and place each day where you will meet with God. Think of it as an appointment. God is waiting to talk to you at that specific time. You wouldn’t make a lunch appointment with a friend and not show up! Make God a priority.

You can prepare for your appointment with God by listening to worship songs and spending some time in worship. This will prepare your heart to not only talk to God but listen to Him as well.
If you are unsure of how to begin praying, you can try the ACTS method.
A – Adoration: Praising God for who He is and what He has done.
C – Confession: Acknowledging sins and asking for forgiveness.
T – Thanksgiving: Giving thanks for what God has done in your life.
S – Supplication: Making requests of God. (Prayer Focus)
It is recommended to keep a prayer journal. Try writing down things you are praying about and then when God resolves a situation or answers a prayer, highlight the prayer – that way you can look back to see where God is moving in your life.
We encourage you to attend the weekly corporate prayer services on Wednesday, January 8, 15, and 22, at 6:30 pm, in the main sanctuary.
